HUE - A Tech Summit for Women of Color

Calling all technologists and founders in the Delaware Valley and beyond for the inaugural HUE Tech Summit, a diversity in tech event powered by the Tech Women Network. It will be the Delaware Valley’s first summit that is designed to educate, elevate, and empower women of color technologists and founders.

Hidden no more, it’s time for women of color in the region to come forth and shine. It will be a groundbreaking event during Philly Tech Week as hundreds of professional women, recent college graduates, and supporters are expected to be in attendance.

The theme for the summit is “No More Hidden Figures” and the goal is to ensure that women of color are not left behind in the ever-changing tech world.

The opening keynote speech will be provided by Valeisha Butterfield-Jones, Global Head of Women and Black Community Engagement for GOOGLE, and Co-Founder and CEO of the Women's Entertainment Empowerment Network (WEEN). The closing key, Dr. Sandra K. Johnson, one of the first African American women in the nation to receive a PH.D. in Electrical Engineering.
