Fostering collaboration between civic-minded professionals and municipal government
The Office of Open Data and Digital Transformation (ODDT) partners with departments, the public, and a variety of stakeholders to make government services more effective, transparent, and accessible. Within this collaborative context, ODDT is interested in working with and hearing from local design research, content strategy, software development, design (visual, UX, and service design), open data, and participatory democracy enthusiasts.
During the two-hour event, ODDT will discuss the team’s digital and non-digital service improvement work at the City of Philadelphia. After a short discussion, attendees will engage ODDT and other participants in a workshop—exploring ways to contribute to ODDT initiatives and surfacing barriers to collaborating with government. Output from this event may inform future collaboration between ODDT and civic-minded professionals. Please join us for good food and conversation.
